About the project
ProBetting.info is an independent educational resource about football betting. We don't sell tips. Our task is to honestly explain how betting and its math work, so you make decisions consciously rather than under the pressure of advertising.
There are thousands of betting sites online, and almost all of them are built the same way: behind a facade of "analysis" and "expert advice" runs a machine for funneling players to bookmakers for a commission. ProBetting.info is conceived as the opposite of this model — an independent educational resource.

We explain how betting works, not where to do it. The goal is for you to understand odds, the margin, probabilities, and risks, and to make decisions yourself, without outside pressure.
Responsible gambling
We take the risks of addiction seriously, write honestly about the signs of problem gambling, and always point to where to get help. A person's well-being matters more to us than engagement with betting.
How we work
Behind the calm tone of the articles is a concrete methodology — it's what distinguishes verifiable information from the opinion of a "Telegram expert."
All the math is checked. Before a formula makes it into an article or a calculator, we verify it with calculations. The calculators on the site compute by the same open formulas we explain in the text — you can recheck any result by hand.
The calculations are open, not hidden. We don't ask you to take our word for it. Where there's a number, there's also an explanation of where it came from: implied probability, margin, expected value, the Kelly criterion, CLV — all of these are concepts with transparent definitions, not "secret methods."
People's stories are composites. In the articles on addiction, sensible play, and wins we use fictional stories assembled from typical traits, and we always mark them as such. They illustrate mechanisms rather than passing themselves off as real people.
About real people — only facts. When it comes to public figures like well-known professional players, we rely exclusively on verifiable public information and don't attribute invented quotes to them.

Rules differ by country, and we take local realities into account: in some markets licensed operators work under strict regulation, betting exchanges aren't legally available, and multi-accounting has its own limits. Where it matters, we note honestly what's available in a given market and what remains theory.

Who this site is for
We write for different people. For the curious, who want to understand how odds really work and why the bookmaker is almost always in profit. For skeptics, who suspect that "systems" and paid tips are a scam and are looking for arguments. For those who already bet and want to do it consciously and within safe bounds. And for those who worry about themselves or a loved one and are looking for honest information about addiction and help.
What we don't offer is a path to quick riches. If you came for a "sure bet" or "the secret to beating the bookmaker," it's more honest to say up front: there is no such secret, and anyone who sells it earns on your hope.
